Greenwood Village, Colo. (PRWEB) August 31, 2015

Colorado State University-Global Campus (CSUGlobal.edu) continues to provide students with exemplary education aligned to industry needs and standards as evidenced by data provided by the Colorado Department of Higher Education's Education Pays website. The report includes median earnings of bachelor's and master's degree graduates from all Colorado public and some private universities, of which CSU-Global alumni ranked significantly higher than the state median at both degree levels.

The data shows that the average earnings for bachelor's degree holders in Colorado is $33,091 within the first year after graduation, while graduates from CSU-Global earned an average of $53,381. The report also showed that master's degree holders who graduated from CSU-Global earned an average of $65,503, compared to the state average of $52,456.

"As a university designed for working adults, we are dedicated to ensuring that our fully online programs provide the real-world knowledge and skills that help students advance their careers," said Colorado State University-Global Campus President, Dr. Becky Takeda-Tinker. "We are very proud of the professional success of our students in Colorado and beyond as a result of their education with us."

Colorado is the second state to launch a website within the College Measures program that compares earnings data across the state by program, degree level, and institution. The site includes more than 200,000 graduates from 2002-2012 who are employed in Colorado, and earn at or above the state's minimum wage. Each report covers earnings at one, five, and ten years after graduation. Founded in 2007, CSU-Global is the youngest regionally accredited university in the state and these results reflect the success of its graduates from 2009-2012.

"Our ability to deliver education that has both strong academic quality and workplace application is a tribute to the ongoing collaboration between our expert faculty and industry council leaders," continued Dr. Takeda-Tinker. "Their work is an important factor in CSU-Global's ability to meet its mission of facilitating student success in a global marketplace through education, and we are grateful for their dedication to that end."
