Los Angeles, CA (PRWEB) July 30, 2015

Mothers To The Rescue was created by George DeLaRosa a junior at Loyola High School in Los Angeles California. George was forced to grow up without a mother. When he was seven, his mother unexpectedly died on the operating room table during a routine surgery due to complications.

"I want to give others what I never had and that is the opportunity of having a strong helpful mother figure to teach him/her lessons that only a woman can teach."

Mothers to the Rescue provides children who lost their mother the opportunity to share critical moments in their life with a host of strong women who volunteer to fill the gap that a mother figure can provide.

Mothers to the Rescue matches children with volunteer women in their area to do a multitude of events such as help shop for school clothes, prepare for proms, prepare for dates, answer questions that only a woman can help with, and give a number and email they can be reached to ask any questions about life.

"When I needed a dress and help sewing the hem, I reached out to Mothers to the Rescue and Lucy came over and fixed my dress in one day. She helped me fit into it, and helped me pick out the right flat shoes not heals for my 8th grade graduation. No one can ever replace my mom, but Lucy is there when I need her."

Every Child deserves a mother, and the goal of Mothers to the Rescue is to afford all young people who grew up without a mom the opportunity to experience love and life lessons that only a woman can give.
