BeBop Technology Launches BeBop SOLO

BeBop Technology, a leading provider of innovative Cloud solutions for the media and entertainment industry, announced today the release of BeBop SOLO, a software as a service (SaaS) version of its groundbreaking cloud-based editorial platform for the media and entertainment industry.

BeBop, released earlier this year for enterprise customers, is an online streaming platform that runs industry-standard postproduction software. It enables anyone with a computer to securely edit video content and process images on as small as a 20Mbps Internet connection. BeBop is the only platform that transparently moves existing editorial workflows to a fully cloud-based environment without disrupting the creative process. BeBop is also the only editorial solution in the marketplace that is fully integrated with the major public Clouds, including Amazon Web Services (AWS), IBM SoftLayer, and Microsoft Azure.

The launch of BeBop SOLO provides individual creatives with self-service access to the powerful BeBop platform. After signing up at http://www.beboptechnology.com/#solo with a major credit card and selecting workstation and storage plans, users can download and install the BeBop client software, ingest their content, and begin editing in the Cloud

Starting today, SOLO is available to customers in the United States, and in short order will roll out to Canada, the United Kingdom and European Union, and the rest of the world.

BeBop currently offers the following SOLO workstation packages:

• Free trial: two hours of editing with demo content provided
• SOLO 10: ability to ingest content and ten hours of editing (two hours free) for $52
• SOLO 20: ingest capability and twenty hours of editing (five hours free) for $97.50

Initial content storage packages include:

• 500GB for $75/month
• 3TB for $460/month

Storage plans can be automatically renewed at the end of the timeframe while additional workstation hours can be purchased in packages of 10 or 20 hours. SOLO users who require additional storage or work for large media and entertainment companies can be easily converted into enterprise customers as needed.
