Participants can discuss their favorite parts of the book, scenes from the movie, famous quotes, favorite characters, and more. Barnes & Noble’s series of customer events to celebrate the release of Go Set a Watchman will continue on Monday, July 13, when all stores nationwide will host a special To Kill a Mockingbird Read-A-Thon. From 9 a.m. to 9 p.m., customers are invited to their local store to prepare for the release of Go Set a Watchman by reading excerpts, favorite quotes, passages and chapters from To Kill a Mockingbird. The Read-A-Thon will feature a variety of readers from the community including educators, customers, booksellers, local authors and celebrities. Customers should contact their local store for details on this event and for more information on how to participate as a reader.

In addition to pre-ordering Go Set a Watchman and picking up a copy of To Kill a Mockingbird, customers can purchase the DVD or Blu-ray of the Academy Award-winning screen adaptation of To Kill a Mockingbird at Barnes & Noble.
