B. Riley & Co. Continues Expansion with Addition of Nicholas Capuano to Institutional Sales Desk; Grant Hustedt to Corporate Finance Group

LOS ANGELES--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- B. Riley & Co., LLC, a full service investment bank specializing in the needs of middle market, publicly traded companies and institutional investors, continues expansion with the announcement of hires in its Southern California offices, according to Tom Kelleher, Chief Executive Officer.

Nicholas Capuano has joined B. Riley's Institutional Sales Department in Los Angeles. Grant Hustedt has joined as an Associate in the Corporate Finance Department in the firm's Newport Beach office.

Mr. Capuano will be managing B. Riley's coverage of select accounts nationwide, with an emphasis in New York. He joins B. Riley from Imperial Capital, where he was Director of Equity Research, covering special situations. Prior to that, Mr. Capuano was with Trust Company of the West's (TCW) Investment Management for 14 years, where he was a portfolio manager for the TCW Small and Mid Cap Growth product. He is a graduate of the University of California at San Diego.

At B. Riley, Mr. Hustedt will be responsible for providing industry research, deal structuring, client services, financial modeling, due diligence and other transactional support to both public and private companies. Previously, Mr. Hustedt was with Deloitte Tax LLP for 5 years, most recently as a Tax Senior. He holds a B.S. degree in Business Administration, Accounting from the University of Arizona and is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA).
