However, after struggling too hard that she had screwed up her relationship with her host family and her friends and her life in France was finally a mess, she took beautiful trips alone around Europe. Based on the author's own experiences as an exchange student, this book explores cultural conflicts and teenage life while giving readers a glimpse into the cultural region in the Northwest of France.

Victoria Huang Song was born in Beijing in 1997. She used to study in Beijing No.4 middle school, the most prestigious Middle School of China and is now doing her high school exchange program around the world. She loves traveling alone, studying languages, reading and K-pop stars. After her first high school year in France, she is now studying in Luzern, Switzerland, and is going to Catholic High School in Bethlehem next year.
