Ascendant Continues Expansion with Announcement of Chicago Presence

SALISBURY, Conn., Aug. 15, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- Ascendant Compliance Management, a leading global compliance consulting firm, today announces the arrival of its location in Chicago to better serve its clients.

The strategic addition is spearheaded by assistant vice president and compliance services consultant David Lourie, and gives Ascendant a presence in another U.S. financial hub, supplementing its current offices in New York and San Francisco and its Connecticut headquarters.

Lourie began his Ascendant career in 2013, and consults on a wide variety of compliance, regulatory, and business matters. He regularly conducts on-site compliance reviews for investment advisers, hedge funds and private equity firms. In addition, he counsels clients on various regulatory matters, including SEC examinations, SEC registration issues, SEC rule interpretation, annual reviews, risk assessments, and compliance policies and procedures.

In leading the Chicago efforts, he will take the lead on clients based in the surrounding region.
