Ampio Clarifies ATM Program

ENGLEWOOD, Colo., Feb. 11, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- Ampio Pharmaceuticals, Inc. (NYSE MKT: AMPE) announced today, that on February 10, 2016, it entered into a Controlled Equity OfferingSM Sales Agreement with Cantor Fitzgerald & Co. ("Cantor Fitzgerald").

Michael Macaluso, Chairman and CEO, stated "During our most recent conference call, we stated that we are not currently raising money and that we have enough money to get us through 2016 and into 2017 and still complete all of our current objectives and nothing has changed since that conference call. The "at-the-market" program may be used opportunistically and as a contingency facility to strengthen our position post-Ampion trial data."
