America's Veterans To Be Honored At "A Salute to Veterans" Event Hosted By Harbourside Place on Sunday, May 24, 2015 In Jupiter Florida

"A Salute to Veterans" will include family fun that includes skeeball, a soccer shootout, basketball challenge, water games, a surf simulation machine, face painting, a balloon artist and more. A commemorative ceremony at 2:00 p.m. will include Jack Anderson on the bagpipes, the Jupiter High School ROTC, Jupiter Police Department Honor Guard, Flag-raising and Pledge of Allegiance, singing of the National Anthem and a moment of silence. Scheduled keynote speakers include Congressman Patrick Murphy, a Three-Star General from Wounded Warriors, and the developer of Harbourside Place Nicholas Mastroianni, III, who will unveil a War Memorial.

At 3:00 p.m., country singer-songwriter Ashley Monroe and the duo Brothers Osborne, with siblings John and J.T. Osborne, will perform in concert at the venue's waterside amphitheater. Monroe has performed with Blake Shelton; the Brothers Osborne are known for their single, "Rum".
