Learning Sciences International has announced that Building Expertise 2015, its fourth annual Marzano education conference, is sold out. Although all seats on the Journey to Rigor have been reserved, conference organizers are maintaining a waiting list for those who haven't registered, but wish to attend.

The three-day conference, keenly focused on helping educators make the critical instructional shifts required to implement and meet new rigorous standards, takes place June 17–19, 2015 at Disney's Coronado Springs Resort in Lake Buena Vista, Florida.

The conference will commence with renowned education researcher Dr. Robert J. Marzano delivering a keynote address about rigor in the classroom and school leadership. Pre-conference attendees may take part in one of 10 sessions. Attendees will then participate in a wide array of sessions that address more than 30 critical education topics, such as raising student achievement through whole-school improvement, continuous improvement of instruction, and ensuring a guaranteed and viable curriculum. Dr. Anthony Muhammad, bestselling author of The Will to Lead and the Skill to Teach: Transforming Schools at Every Level (2011) will present the closing keynote address.

"We're extremely pleased that there's so much interest in our annual conference," says Michael D. Toth, Learning Sciences International CEO. "We truly enjoy giving our attendees access to top researchers and experts in education, and it's wonderful to see them walk away with new strategies and a deeper understanding of how to improve instruction to help learners meet today's rigorous standards."

Those who hoped to attend, but did not reserve their seats before the conference reached capacity, can start planning for next year. Building Expertise 2016 will take place at the same location on June 15–17, 2016.
