Alere Announces Chief Financial Officer Transition

WALTHAM, Mass., March 9, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- Alere Inc. (NYSE: ALR), a global leader in rapid diagnostics, today announced that David Teitel, the Company's Chief Financial Officer (CFO), will transition from the role of Chief Financial Officer when a suitable successor is hired.

Alere has engaged an executive search firm to support the recruitment process. Mr. Teitel intends to continue in the CFO role until his successor is named and to work closely with the management team, including the new CFO, to facilitate a smooth and successful transition of his responsibilities.
