Energy Conversion Devices, Inc. (Nasdaq: ENER) 4% LOWER; filed preliminary prospectus supplements with the SEC relating to proposed public offerings of 4,708,500 shares of common stock and $225 million aggregate principal amount of Convertible Senior Notes due 2013.
Steel Dynamics, Inc. (Nasdaq: STLD) 4% HIGHER; now expects second quarter 2008 earnings to be within a range of $0.90 to $0.95 per diluted share, versus prior guidance of $0.80 to $0.90 and the consensus of $0.89.
