Active Aero Group, a Roadrunner Transportation Systems Company, Receives 2015 Supplier of the Year Award from General Motors

CUDAHY, Wis.--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- Roadrunner Transportation Systems, Inc. (NYSE: RRTS), a leading asset-light transportation and logistics service provider, announced today that Active Aero Group, a Roadrunner Transportation Systems company, was named a 2015 “Supplier of the Year” by General Motors.

This is the fourth time in the last six years that Active Aero Group has been recognized by GM as a Supplier of the Year award recipient. Roadrunner acquired Active Aero Group, a Belleville, Mich. based provider of air and ground expedited services, in 2014.

GM presented the awards at the automaker’s 24th annual Supplier of the Year awards ceremony in Detroit, Mich. Supplier of the Year award winners from around the world were recognized for having consistently exceeded GM’s expectations, created outstanding value or brought new innovations to the company.
