LAKEWOOD, NJ. (PRWEB) April 01, 2015

Achieve3000, the leader in differentiated instruction, today announced that its literacy solutions were named as finalists for two 2015 SIIA Education CODiE Awards: Best Learning Capacity-Building Solution and Best Educational App for a Mobile Device. The SIIA CODiE Awards are the premier award for the software and information industries, and have been recognizing product excellence for 29 years. The awards have over 85 categories and are organized by industry focus of Content, Education, and Software.

Achieve3000 offers the world's most advanced and only patented online model of differentiated instruction available today. It starts with LevelSet™, the only Lexile™-based universal screener available for establishing a learner's comprehension for nonfiction text in English and in Spanish. LevelSet scores are automatically input into the system, so learners are matched appropriately to text. As learners work through the Five-Step Literacy Routine, the proprietary system monitors to detect when learners are ready for greater text complexity and automatically adapts their levels. Additionally, through this routine, the system is gathering performance data, which educators can use to identify skills deficits that can be targeted for small group instruction.

In addition, Achieve3000 ensures more time on task by enabling anytime, anywhere access. The Achieve3000 app for iPad allows students to complete lessons anytime they are ready to learn--on the bus, at home, or on vacation--even if Internet access is not available. The app is available at no cost for students with active subscriptions to Achieve3000's literacy solutions: KidBiz3000®, TeenBiz3000®, and Empower3000™.

"It is an honor to have Achieve3000 recognized by SIIA for the third consecutive year," said Saki Dodelson, Founder and CEO, Achieve3000. "Reaching kids at their precise reading levels with differentiated instruction is key to making an impact quickly. Today's announcement re-affirms that, with the mounting urgency to get ALL kids ready for college and career, the powerful combination of differentiated instruction and anytime, anywhere access is key to accelerated student success."

This year's CODiE program features 28 Education categories, several of which are new or updated to reflect the latest industry trends and business models. All winners will be announced during a special awards dinner at the nation's leading education technology conference, the Education Industry Summit, in San Francisco on May 5. The announcement will also be live streamed.

"This year's finalists are breaking ground with new business models and innovative products. We are pleased to recognize the best in educational technology with these 157 products," said Karen Billings, vice president of the SIIA Education Technology Industry Network. "I look forward to honoring them all in May at the Education Industry Summit."
