Academy of Managed Care Pharmacy CEO Edith A. Rosato Announces Retirement

ALEXANDRIA, Va., July 1, 2015 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- Academy of Managed Care Pharmacy CEO Edith A. Rosato, RPh, IOM, today announced that she will be retiring effective December 31, 2015. Rosato will step down after successfully leading the Academy since November 2011. She will remain at AMCP until year-end to ensure a smooth and effective leadership transition for AMCP's members, employees and stakeholders. Rosato will also be stepping down as chairman of the AMCP Foundation. 

AMCP President Raulo S. Frear, PharmD, thanked Rosato for her service.

Frear announced that the search for Rosato's successor will begin immediately. An executive search firm is expected to be announced soon.
