A.P. Ransome's New Poetry Collection Covers Grief, Guidance, God

STIRLING, Australia (PRWEB) August 31, 2015

A.P. Ransome was devastated when his brother passed away. A few days later while writing his brother's eulogy, he watched as the Twin Towers of the World Trade Center fell – it was almost too much for him to bear. Rather than let his grief break him, however, Ransome would later turn it into something creative: poetry.

Ransome previously published "My Life Slipped Through my Fingers," a collection of his late brother's poetry and testimonials about his brother, at the request of his mother. Not wanting anyone to have to sort through his own writings when he eventually passes away, Ransome brings readers his new poetry collection, "Walking with Buddha: Volumes 1, 2 & 3" (published by Balboa Press AU), with a collection of poems about love, loss and inspiration.

In "Walking with Buddha," Ransome discusses the importance of guidance in a person's life, whether they receive the guidance from God, a friend, a mentor, an advisor or family. He says that ultimately, it is important that a person continues their journey through life with someone or people or a belief that can be their guide.

An excerpt from the poem "Do Not Mourn," featured in "Walking with Buddha":

"so having lived life to the full,
maybe touching your life in some small way,
do not mourn me should I pass,
our spirits will surely meet again - some day."
