Lake Bluff, Illinois (PRWEB) October 07, 2015

On October 4th, 2015 over 600 people gathered at Lake Forest Sportscars for an afternoon of fun and to enjoy the spectacular lineup of cars entered into the annual Concours d'Elegance show. The day was filled with excitement from the food to the cars. With such famous Concours in other parts of the country, namely Pebble Beach and Cavallino, LFSC's show isn't one to overlook. To name of few of the highlights: 2 McLaren P1's, a Porsche 918, a Pagani Huayra, a Ferrari Sergio, a Maserati MC12 Corsa, a Lamborghini Miura SV, a McLaren Mercedes 722S Stealth, the original Aston Martin DB5 from James Bond's Goldfinger, a 1971 Maserati Ghibli Spider, a 1966 Cobra, a Ferrari 330 GT 2+2, a Ferrari 599 GTO and of course the ultimate site was all of the Ferrari Supercars from beginning to end. The back of the show was lined with 2 288 GTOs, an F40, an F50, an Enzo and 2 LaFerraris. With over 90 years of Ferrari experience and 119 cars to choose from, the judge's panel awarded trophies to 20 categories. Best in show came down to a three-way tie between the Goldfinger DB5, the Ferrari 599 GTO and the 1985 Ferrari 288 GTO. Rick Mancuso, CEO and Owner of LFSC stated "This was our best show yet. The cars, the people, the partners and the food all added to the event. Every year we aim to be better and we ask ourselves how can we ramp it up next year? We want to make it special for everyone that attends every year." After the show was over people lined the streets to see the cars leave, one of the more exciting parts of the day is hearing these cars fire up and drive away.

LFSC prides themselves on customer service and the Concours was no exception. Hublot and their retail partner Geneva Seal displayed some of their highest end watches for guests to try on and enjoy, DJ Madrid set the mood spinning lively music as guests socialized and enjoyed delicious food from the Big Star Food Truck. To top it off, an array of ice cream desserts was served from Zarlengo's, a family owned Italian Ice and Gelato Company as part of the entrance ticket of $0. "This is one of our favorite events of the year and it keeps growing, it's exciting for us. There are not many public events left that provide this level of hospitality and we love that. We do this for all the car fans out there no matter the age. We are a small family owned business and all the car enthusiasts out there are part of our extended family, it's really fun to see people coming in from all over the country to our show" says Cassie Carver Director of Marketing and Events for LFSC.

We wanted to thank our partner Wells Fargo Private Bank for their partnership and helping us grow this important event. For more information please email Cassie Carver cmancuso(at)lfsc.com.
