16 Women to Share Stories of Success and Inspiration at SheTalks Health & Fitness

SURREY, British Columbia--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- Peggy Assinck plays on the Canadian Women’s National Sledge Hockey team despite being born with Spina Bifida. Karen Bennett is the owner of a Surrey black belt academy where she has a large female client base. Mindy Ambrose is a national bodybuilding champion.

These are just three of 16 women who will share their stories of success and inspiration at SheTalks Health & Fitness on Jan. 28, the latest in the SheTalks event series.

SheTalks allows women to create impact through eight minutes of real storytelling - not speeches.

“SheTalks Health & Fitness is a platform to help women become more comfortable with their authentic journeys through their own personal struggles and successes,” said Natasha Raey, co-founder of SheTalks. “With the ongoing support of our SheTalks show on Roundhouse Radio, our message of women helping and supporting women continues every Saturday from 11 a.m. to 12 p.m.”

More than 200 people are expected to attend the upcoming conference, where all 16 women will share how they made it in the field, their contributions, as well as the struggles and successes they’ve encountered along the way.
