Thompson Creek Metals (NYSE: TC) volatility is up 18 percent from Monday's close and 144 percent over its historical average as shares continue to a new 52-week low.
Shares have been selling ever since Thompson Creek reported its fourth-quarter earnings on May 4th. Shares are down about 11 percent and hit a multi-year low of $4.12. The last time the stock was this low was April 2009.
Volume on the move is also strong Tuesday.
