Santarus, Inc. (Nasdaq: SNTS) shares are at intraday highs Wednesday with higher implied volatility. The stock is at an annual high of $6.13.

Market data shows implied volatility is up 50 percent from Tuesday's close to 73.4 percent. Volatility is also 81 percent than the historical average.

Shares are 4.4 percent better on the session.
