Biogen Idec (BIIB) volatility low into JNJ $1B investment in Elan
Biogen Idec (Nasdaq: BIIB) : Biogen Idec closed at $46.77. Johnson and Johnson-JNJ will acquire 18.4% stake in Elan-ELN for $1B. Biogion and ELN are partners in Tysabri, a multiple sclerosis drug. Biogen July option implied volatility is at 41, below its six-month average of 48, according to Track Data suggesting decreasing price movement. Paul Foster
