Wells Fargo initiates coverage on News Corp. (NASDAQ: NWSA) with an Outperform. PT $24-$26.
Wells analyst says, "(1) We see potential upside to numbers in almost all of NWSA’s segments. (2) Among its peers, we believe NWSA has the greatest growth prospects in both operating income and EBITDA for the next several years. (3) Management is committed to returning cash to shareholders, as evidenced by its $5 billion share repurchase authorization (we think there is more to come). And (4) we view NWSA's current valuation as attractive despite the recent run (up 4.5% versus the S&P, up 3.5% year to date), at 7.1x next-12-months (NTM) enterprise value (EV)-to-EBITDA and 11.9x NTM P/E, versus historical ranges of 8.1x and 12.3x, respectively."
