The Providence Service Corporation (Nasdaq: PRSC) 46% LOWER; The company sees second quarter EPS of approximately $0.26 to $0.28 per diluted share compared to prior guidance of between $0.36 and $0.38 per diluted share. Second quarter revenue for 2008 is expected to be approximately $173 million compared to prior guidance of $174-175 million.

Idearc Inc. (NYSE: IAR) 34.1% LOWER; reports Q2 EPS of $1.28, compared to $1.45 in the same quarter last year. Revenues for the quarter were $759 million, versus the consensus of $764.44 million. Reiterates its previously issued FY08 outlook.

Network Equipment Technologies (NYSE: NWK) 30.6% LOWER; reports a Q2 loss of $0.39, 20 cents worse than the analyst estimate of ($0.19). Revenues for the quarter were $15.6 million, versus the consensus of $17.26 million.

Headwaters Inc. (NYSE: HW) 27.8% HIGHER; reports Q3 EPS of $0.31, 6 cents better than the analyst estimate of $0.25. Revenues for the quarter were $230.5 million, versus the consensus of $231.91 million. Sees FY08 EPS in the range of $0.60-$0.75, versus the consensus of $0.60.

PLX Technology (Nasdaq: PLXT) 27% LOWER; reports Q2 GAAP EPS of $0.00 vs. the analyst estimate of $0.06. Revenues for the quarter were $23.4 million, versus the consensus of $23.51 million. PLXT sees Q3 revenues between $20.5 million and $21.5 million vs. $24.81 million consensus.

SciClone Pharmaceuticals, Inc. (NASDAQ: SCLN) 22.3% HIGHER; reports a Q2 loss of $0.01, compared to a loss of $0.06 in the same quarter last year. Revenues for the quarter were $13.83 million, versus $8.96 million in Q207. Raises its FY08 sales and net loss guidance from $42-$44 million and $0.38-$0.41 to $48-$50 million and $0.22-$0.26, respectively.

Trident Microsystems (Nasdaq: TRID) 26.2% LOWER; reports Q4 EPS of $0.11, 8 cents better than the analyst estimate of $0.03. Revenues for the quarter were $39.5 million, versus the consensus of $39.23 million. Sees Q1 revenues $32-36 million versus $46.8 million. Sees 2009 guidance revenues $115-$135 million versus $185 million.

Gevity (NASDAQ: GVHR) 22% HIGHER; reports Q2 EPS of $0.08, or $0.16, ex-items, versus the analyst estimate of $0.02. Revenues for the quarter were $128.66 million, versus the consensus of $133.22 million.

UAL Corp. (Nasdaq: UAUA) 21.8% HIGHER; airlines are seeing sharp movement to the upside today amid crude oil prices that moved below $122 intraday.

AirTran Holdings, Inc., (NYSE: AAI) 20.4% HIGHER; reports a Q2 loss of $0.12, versus the analyst estimate of ($0.25). Revenues for the quarter were $693.4 million, versus the consensus of $702.10 million. Also seeing upside with the rest of the airlines.
