BankUnited (Nasdaq: BKUNA) 31.3% LOWER; correcting today following a 122% run-up yesterday on reports that John Kanas, North Fork Bancorp’s former CEO, is leading a bid by Carlyle Group, Blackstone Group LP and WL Ross & Co., to acquire BankUnited Financial Corp.

GT Solar International, Inc. (NASDAQ: SOLR) 23.9% LOWER; reports Q4 EPS of $0.08, 10 cents lower than the analyst estimate of $0.18. Revenue for the quarter was $138.5 million, versus the consensus of $151.29 million. Sees FY10 sales of $450-$550 million, versus the consensus of $554.12 million. EPS for the year are expected to be in the range of $0.45-$0.60, versus the Street estimate of $0.71.

CalAmp Corp. (Nasdaq: CAMP) 23.9 LOWER; reports Q4 adj-EPS of $0.15, compared to a loss of $0.38 in Q408. Revenue for the quarter was $21.3 million, versus the consensus of $27.9 million and up 10% from the same quarter last year.

SORL Auto Parts, Inc. (Nasdaq: SORL) 23.4% LOWER; reports Q1 EPS of $0.05, versus $0.19 in Q108. Revenue for the quarter was $20.2 million, compared to $30.7 million in the same quarter last year.

Sport Supply Group (NYSE: RBI) 10.1% HIGHER; reports Q3 EPS of $0.27, 1 cent better than the analyst estimate of $0.26. Revenue for the quarter was $63.8 million, versus the consensus of $65.18 million.

Pharmasset (Nasdaq: VRUS) 8.4% HIGHER; since reporting its Q2 earnings on Monday after the close, shares of Pharmasset have risen by more than 9%.
