Animal Health International, Inc. (Nasdaq: AHII) 55.5% LOWER; reports Q3 EPS of $0.01, 10 cents lower than the analyst estimate of $0.11. Revenue for the quarter was $169 million, versus the consensus of $178.86 million. Sees FY09 sales of $650-$680 million, versus the consensus of $758.71 million.
FCStone Group, Inc. (Nasdaq: FCSX) 47.2% LOWER; reported yesterday that it expects to incur up to a $25 million pre-tax bad debt provision for Q109 in connection with losses by three domestic accounts for which FCStone serves as the clearing firm or counterparty. The stock was also downgraded by Banc of America to Neutral this morning.
NN Inc. (Nasdaq: NNBR) 33% LOWER; reports Q3 EPS of $0.18, 2 cents lower than the analyst estimate of $0.20. Revenue for the quarter was $104.9 million, versus the consensus of $109.8 million.
Verenium (Nasdaq: VRNM) 32% HIGHER; trading higher ahead of its Q3 earnings results, which are expected to be released after the market closes on Monday, Nov. 10.
CIT Group Inc. (NYSE: CIT) 31.4% HIGHER; today announced that it closed on its previously announced $500 million financing facility with Wells Fargo Bank, N.A. on terms consistent with the commitment letter signed by the parties in September 2008.
The Principal Financial Group (NYSE: PFG) 25.3% HIGHER; reports Q3 EPS of $0.96, 4 cents better than the analyst estimate of $0.92.
TNS Inc. (NYSE: TNS) 24.4% LOWER; reports Q3 EPS of $0.42, in-line with the analyst estimate of $0.42. Revenue for the quarter was $88.6 million, versus the consensus of $90.94 million.
Terra Nitrogen (NYSE: TNH) 23.8% HIGHER; ag stocks are soaring today as the market seems to be pricing in a move toward increased efficiency whether either Obama or McCain is elected.
iPCS, Inc. (Nasdaq: IPCS) 23.8% LOWER; reports Q3 loss of $0.44, versus the analyst estimate of a $0.15 gain. Revenue for the quarter was $132.1 million, versus the consensus of $135.13 million.
American Superconductor Corporation (NASDAQ: AMSC) 23.6% HIGHER; reports Q2 loss of $0.10, 1 cent lower than the analyst estimate of ($0.09). Revenue for the quarter was $40.4 million, versus the consensus of $41.14 million. Affirms its FY08 sales guidance of $175-$185 million and EPS of $0.30-$0.35.
MasterCard Incorporated (NYSE: MA) 14.8% HIGHER; reports Q3 EPS of $2.47, ex-items, versus the analyst estimate of $2.25. Revenue for the quarter was $1.3 billion, versus the consensus of $1.27 billion.
