Canaccord Genuity assumes coverage on Anacor Pharmaceuticals (NASDAQ: ANAC) with a Buy. PT $8.00.
Analyst, Ritu Baral, said, "...good risk/reward going into Ph3 data for tavaborole in onychomycosis. Tavaborole (tava) is ANAC’s topical drug for nail fungal infection, which we think may yield positive pivotal data in Q1/13, be approved in 2014 and have $1B in US sales potential. We think ANAC’s second drug candidate, AN2728, may yield positive Ph2 data from multiple trials in atopic dermatitis (AD) over the next 12 months and have around $600MM in peak sales potential."
