Telemedicus Engages VP for Sales & Marketing
HOUSTON--(BUSINESS WIRE)--
Telemedicus, Inc. (OTC: TMDI), has engaged Ms. Lisa Burke for its newly created position of VP of Sales and Marketing. Telemedicus commercialized the life saving mobile medical communications technology called "Disaster Relief and Emergency Medical Services (DREAMS(TM)) Technology" developed by Texas A&M University and the University of Texas.

Telemedicus DREAMS(TM) technology is the latest generation of mobile medical communication technology that allows a doctor to be "virtually on board" the ambulance or medi-flight as the patient is transported to the hospital.
This technology may also be employed in community clinics in rural areas making it possible to expand the number of medical specialties available and increases the number of patients that can be served.
TMDI's DREAMS(TM) technology effectively turns 9-1-1 ambulances, clinics or medical transportation vehicles into mobile trauma centers or tele-health care locations. The technology integrates components manufactured by Advantech (Tel Aviv: ADVT), Cisco (NASDAQ: CSCO), Dell (NASDAQ: DELL) and Panasonic (NYSE: MC).
Prior to joining the Telemedicus Executive Team, Ms. Burke was a Territorial Manager for Wyeth Pharmaceuticals (NYSE: WYE). Her experience also includes sales positions with Organon Pharmaceutical, Northwest Forest (a division of ICED) and Lanier Worldwide, Inc. Ms. Burke is a graduate from the University of Houston, North Campus and is a member of the World's Affairs Council.
