In a Form 8-K, Sequenom (Nasdaq: SQNM) disclosed that on June 29, 2009, it received written notification that the SEC has initiated an investigation relating to our April 29, 2009 announcement regarding it's SEQureDx Down syndrome test. Sequenom said it intends to cooperate fully with the SEC in this matter and that its internal investigation is ongoing.
