Nomura Securities Starts Axiall Corporation (AXLL) at Neutral

Nomura Securities initiates coverage on Axiall Corporation (NYSE: AXLL) with a Neutral rating and a price target of $35.00.

Analyst Aleksey Yefremov commented, "We initiate coverage of Axiall Corporation (AXLL) shares with a Neutral rating and $35 target price. Our view is based on expectation of near-term softness in PVC and caustic soda prices, balancing any potential upside from lower ethylene costs and tighter chlorine. AXLL trades at 6.4x 2016E EV/EBITDA; we think better values exist elsewhere within the petrochemical space (LYB in ethylene) or in more differentiated hybrid chemical plays such as DOW or EMN."
