KeyBanc initiates coverage on Xylem (NYSE: XYL) with a Buy. PT $28.00.
KeyBanc analyst says, "Our 2011 estimate is set at $1.87 vs. about $1.84 in 2010, including a 4Q11 estimate (December) of $0.48 vs. approximately $0.55. Our 2012 estimate is set at $1.89. These estimates exclude spin related costs and restructuring expenses, though are inclusive of incremental, ongoing corporate expenses and related public company costs (estimated to be about $25 million-$35 million per year), of which $5 million-$10 million is expected to be incurred in 2011, with the remainder throughout the course of 2012. We point out that the year-over-year EPS decline we are forecasting for 4Q11 is driven by higher interest expense and effective tax rate."
