Janney Montgomery initiates coverage on Westport Innovations, Inc. (Nasdaq: WPRT) with a Buy rating and $12 fair value target.
The firm said with the roll-out of natural gas vehicles in the U.S. later this year, Westport Innovation s stock will likely appreciate.
Westport partners with Cummins to make the leading natural gas engine for medium and heavy duty trucks.
Analyst said, "The company's global exposure gives it upside beyond the U.S. and its technology business model means its capital needs are low. While the stock has more than doubled from the March lows, we believe there is significant upside."
