Elbit Systems of America, LLC, a wholly owned subsidiary of Elbit Systems Ltd. (NASDAQ: ESLT) has achieved another milestone for the Kollsman General Aviation Vision System (GAViS). GAViS is now certified on the Sikorsky S-76A, S-76B and S-76C helicopters. Pro Star Aviation has received FAA Supplemental Type Certificate (STC) and is able to install the GAViS at the customer's location during annual inspections or at their facilities in Londonderry, New Hampshire.
GAViS is an affordable, compact, lightweight infrared sensor that provides a video image of the aircraft's forward environment at night and in low visibility conditions.
