DA Davidson initiates coverage on Entropic Communications, Inc. (Nasdaq: ENTR) with a Buy rating and $8 price target.
The firm said they expect MoCA (Multimedia over Coax Alliance), where ENTR has a leadership position, to be a prominent home networking medium throughout the US. The firm noted that ENTR is the only high-volume supplier of MoCA chip-sets, with Verizon FiOS deployments the most notable.
