Collins Stewart initiates coverage on Scripps Networks Interactive (NYSE: SNI) with a Buy.

Collins analyst says, "SNI is positioned to benefit from several upcoming catalysts. In addition to carriage renewals on 75% of Food Network's sub base and 50% of HGTV's, expiring at 12/30/09,
events include: the sale of USwitch, overseas expansion and potential share buybacks...We expect SNI should be able to bring the renewing operators' carriage fees up to the incumbent systems' fees. That alone should enable SNI to beat Consensus. Its possible, however, that SNI will be able to renew at higher rates, enabling them to beat our 2010 8% revenue and 11.4% EBITDA estimate."
