Collins Stewart initiates coverage on Digital River (Nasdaq: DRIV) with a Hold.

Collins analyst says, "The company is a primary beneficiary of the secular growth trends in Electronic Software Delivery (ESD) and e-commerce. In our view concerns over high revenue concentration with Symantec, macro-economic headwinds, and limited near-term upside to margins (largely due to mix shift) are nicely balanced with: 1) two near term catalysts i.e. expanding Microsoft relationship and major account wins in CE during 2H-08 and 2) overall increasing traction in ESD for SMBs, CE, Gaming, and marketForce. We estimate the likely new deals with MSFT and CE can give DRIV shares a $2.50 to $4.50 lift. We would be buyers of DRIV in the event of any pull-back in the shares or better than expected upside from 2H-08 catalysts."

Digital River, Inc. (Digital River) provides e-commerce solutions to a variety of companies in software, consumer electronics, computer and video games, and other markets.
