Rodman & Renshaw initiated coverage on shares of Cleveland BioLabs (NASDAQ: CBLI) with a Market Outperform rating and an $8 price target in a mid-day research note Wednesday.

The stock went parabolic following the intraday call. Shares surged as much as 7 percent, however quickly gave up gains. Cleveland Biolabs shares are now back down about 7.5 percent.
