Verenium Corporation (Nasdaq: VRNM) 20% HIGHER; reports a Q1 loss of $0.19, 2 cents worse than estimates. Revenues were $14.4 million vs. $16.50 million consensus.

Anadarko Petroleum Corporation (NYSE: APC) 3.5% LOWER; announced a registered underwritten public offering of 30 million shares of its common stock. Anadarko will grant the underwriters a 30-day option to purchase up to 4.5 million additional shares of its common stock. Net proceeds from the offering are expected to be used for general corporate purposes, including future capital expenditures.
Atlas Air Worldwide Holdings, Inc. (Nasdaq: AAWW) 3% LOWER; announced today that HMC. Atlas Air, L.L.C. has commenced a public offering to sell 4,000,000 shares of AAWW's common stock. In addition, Harbinger has granted the underwriters in the offering the option to purchase an additional 15% of the offered shares. Goldman, Sachs & Co. and Morgan Stanley & Co. Incorporated will serve as joint bookrunning managers for the offering. AAWW will not receive any proceeds from this offering.
