Netflix (NASDAQ: NFLX) is raising the price of its most popular streaming subscription plan by $1 per month to $9.99 for new customers in the U.S., Canada and parts of Latin America, according to Bloomberg sources. The rate change effects plans that allows two viewers to use a subscription, and does not impact so-called one-screen and four-screen plans. The report says existing customers will have a grace period before prices go up.
