Forest Laboratories, Inc. (NYSE: FRX) is maintaining gains from an earlier volume spike today.
Shares are up 2.5 percent on the session after about 183,000 shares crossed at 12:58pm, pushing Forest over the $36.40 level, th previous resistance level hit in early July.
Forest hit a new annual high of $36.66 in the process. Overall volume is about 1.3 million shares, from its three-month daily average of 1.9 million.
