Angiotech Pharmaceuticals Inc. (Nasdaq: ANPI) is surging 40 percent higher today on heavier-than-normal volume.
There has been no news to explain the surge, but yesterday the stocks was up 49 percent so today is a continuation of that momentum.
The momentum seen in Angiotech Pharmaceuticals the past few sessions appears to be the same momentum seen in other sub-$1 biotech stocks for no apparent reason.
