Wachovia (WB) Down Another 8%, Below $15/Share

Shares of Wachovia (NYSE: WB) are down another 8% today, to $14.97, a new multi-year low.

There are a number of negative headlines and rumors hurting the stock today:

- Reports from the New York Post, Wachovia may have to buy back Prudential's stake in their joint retail brokerage venture.

- Analysts at Fox-Pitt Kelton said the dividends at Wachovia, Comerica (NYSE: CMA) and Marshall & Ilsley (NYSE: MI) are most at risk.

- Rumors of a take-under.
