SiRF Technology Holdings, Inc. (Nasdaq: SIRF) 62% HIGHER; Announced a stock-for-stock merger agreement with CSR plc. Under the terms of the agreement, SiRF stockholders will receive 0.741 of a CSR share for each share of SiRF common stock they own. Based on the closing stock price for CSR on February 9, 2009, this consideration would be equivalent to $2.06 of CSR stock for each SiRF share, representing total consideration of $136 million. This represents a premium to SiRF stockholders of approximately 91% over SiRF's closing stock price on February 9, 2009.

Agilysys, Inc. (Nasdaq: AGYS) 33.4% HIGHER; reports Q3 loss of $0.10, versus the analyst estimate of ($0.02) and compared to a loss of $0.06 in the same quarter last year. Revenue for the quarter was $224.1 million, versus the consensus of $225.72 million.

The Principal Financial Group (NYSE: PFG) 28% LOWER; reports Q4 EPS of $0.69, 3 cents better than the analyst estimate of $0.66. Q4 gross unrealized losses on MBS, ABS loss widens from $1.5 billion to $3 billion. Unrealized corporate debt losses rose from $2.8 billion to $5.1 billion.

Lions Gate Entertainment (NYSE: LGF) 19.8% LOWER; reports Q3 loss of $0.81, which may not compare to the analyst estimate of ($0.20). Revenue for the quarter was $324 million, versus the consensus of $348.83 million.

American Financial Group (NYSE: AFG) 17.5% HIGHER; reports Q4 Core EPS of $1.04 vs. the analyst estimate of $0.97. Revenues were $1.1 billion compared to $1.04 billion for the same period last year. Raises its FY09 EPS guidance to $3.70-$4.00, versus the consensus of $3.55.

Ladish (Nasdaq: LDSH) 17.5% LOWER; reports Q4 EPS of $0.60, 7 cents better than the analyst estimate of $0.53. Revenue for the quarter was $112.549 million, versus the consensus of $118.29 million.

Charles River Laboratories International, Inc. (NYSE: CRL) 11.8% HIGHER; reports Q4 non-GAAP EPS of $0.59, 4c better than the analyst estimate of $0.55. Revenue for the quarter was $311.4 million, versus the consensus of $312.58 million. Sees FY09 EPS of $2.30-$2.60, versus the consensus of $2.62.

Expeditors International of Washington, Inc. (NASDAQ: EXPD) 11.6% HIGHER; reports Q4 EPS of $0.36, 1 cent better than the analyst estimate of $0.35. Revenue for the quarter was $1.31 billion, versus the consensus of $1.51 billion.
