The Pantry, Inc. (Nasdaq: PTRY) today announced that its Board of Directors has appointed Edwin Holman, a current director, as Chairman of the Board. Mr. Holman will succeed Peter Sodini, who announced his retirement from the Company and Board of Directors effective September 25, 2009.
