Tetra Tech (TTEK) Announces Acquisitions of Three Consulting and Engineering Firms

Tetra Tech, Inc. (NASDAQ: TTEK) has completed the tuck-in acquisitions of three consulting and engineering firms in the fourth quarter of fiscal 2008. Combined, the three firms have annual revenue of approximately $20 million and add about 150 new employees to the Company. The terms of the acquisitions were not disclosed.

The Institute for Public-Private Partnerships, Inc. (IP3), based in Washington, DC, is a leading international consulting and training firm that advises government and private sector clients on public-private partnership structures for infrastructure development. This acquisition will enhance Tetra Tech's services offerings for the U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID), the World Bank, and governments and private clients in emerging markets around the world.

Rothberg, Tamburini & Winsor, Inc. (RTW), based in Denver, CO, will enhance Tetra Tech's service offerings in water and wastewater design. RTW provides planning, process engineering, facilities design, instrumentation and controls, training, and construction engineering for clients including municipalities, mining companies, utilities, and industrial clients.

Highlander Environmental Corp., based in Midland, TX, will enhance Tetra Tech's environmental capabilities for oil and gas industry clients in Texas and New Mexico.[SM]
