Novell (NOVL) Said It Has No Current Plans To Sell Itself
In a filing after the close Friday, Novell, Inc. (Nasdaq: NOVL) stated that, "In response to inquiries and recent published reports, Novell, Inc. wishes to clarify that it is continuing to operate the company in the best interest of shareholders and has no current plans to sell the company."
Shares of Novell rose 10% on Friday on analyst speculation the company would sell itself.
