Japan's Dentsu to Acquire Aegis Group in $4.9B Deal

Japanese advertiser Dentsu Inc. entered an agreement to acquire Aegis Group plc for 240p per share, or total transaction value of £3.164 billion ($4.897 billion).
The Aegis Directors, who have been so advised by Greenhill and J.P. Morgan Cazenove, consider the terms of the Offer to be fair and reasonable. In providing advice to the Aegis Directors, Greenhill and J.P. Morgan Cazenove have taken into account the commercial assessments of the Aegis Directors.
