IBM (NYSE: IBM) has entered into a definitive agreement to acquire Texas Memory Systems (TMS), a leading developer of high-performance flash memory solutions. TMS is a privately held company based in Houston, Texas.
Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.
TMS employs approximately 100 people. The deal is expected to close later in 2012.
