Goldman Sachs Downgrades Merrill Lynch (MER) To Sell, Adds To Sell List

Goldman Sachs downgrades Merrill Lynch (NYSE: MER) from Neutral to Sell and adds the stock to its Conviction Sell List, citing more write-downs to come at the investment bank.

Goldman also cut its price target on Merrill Lynch from $28.50 to $22.

Shares of Merrill Lynch closed at $26.21 yesterday, with a 52-week range of $22-$78.66.
