In response to a extension of the $14.50/share tender offer from Biogen Idec's (NASDAQ: BIIB), Facet Biotech Corporation (NASDAQ: FACT) again rejected the overture.
Facet Biotech notes the merger in not in the best interests and shareholders and that an overwhelming majority of their stockholders have rejected the offer by not tendering their shares.
