Elan (ELN) Higher On Reports of Novartis Talks
Down)Shares of Elan (NYSE: ELN) are higher in overseas trading following reports in the Sunday Times, Novartis (NYSE: NVS) is in talks to buy part of the Dublin, Ireland-based drugmaker.
Spokespersons from both companies declined to comment on the speculation.
The Sunday Times cited a "well-placed source" which said a decision is "some way off."
